Kelsea Ballerini hosted a motley crew of loved ones for Thanksgiving this year.
The country singer spent the holiday with her boyfriend Chase Stokes, fellow country star Kenny Chesney, her mom and a group of friends that included Alysa Vanderheim, who worked with Ballerini on her latest album, Forms.
Ballerini gave fans a peek into her holiday celebration at her Nashville home in a Nov. 29 Instagram post as she shared a series of 15 photos from the turkey day — and the raucous karaoke that ended the night.

This year is the first time Ballerini (31) has cooked a turkey herself, she revealed on her Instagram stories as she shared screenshots of her texts with her colleagues from Vote, Adam Levine and Michael Bublé. She rated her bird “5/10” in the title of her post.
The clear highlight of her day was the “Thanksgiving Karaoke” she and her loved ones performed in front of the lit Christmas tree. She rated it a “1000/10” in the caption, while writing, “Grateful for so much, mostly the love we get and give. 🤍.”

Along with some snaps of her preparing her turkey, Ballerina’s post also included a sweet photo of Stokes, 32, hugging her from behind as she showed off her cooked bird and a group shot of Ballerina, Stokes, Vanderheim and another friend cuddled up on the couch with their dog , Dibsom, who joins the action.
She also shared a photo of her and Chesney, 56, hugging the singer – who she toured with on his I Go Back tour last year – as she stood in her kitchen.

Loved ones aside, it was especially important to Ballerina to have her furry friend with her to celebrate the holidays, as she discovered in August that her 9-year-old dog had inoperable heart cancer.
“Thankful this little guy had his 9th Thanksgiving,” she wrote over a cute photo of Dibs wearing glasses and a red sweater that she posted to her Stories. “I am grateful for the love, consistency and joy he has brought to me and so many people around us. He is my little turkey forever.”

In September, Stokes told PEOPLE that the couple is “just taking it day by day right now” amid Dibs’ diagnosis, and Ballerini said in her first post that her pup is “in no pain” but is on “‘big’ medicine” and will continue to be free it hurts.
“It’s one of those things that when it happens as quickly as it does, you just try to do the next right thing,” Stokes said.
