Kelsea Ballerini Shines in Gold-Scale Gown, Shows Off Goldfish Bowl Purse at Doctor Odyssey Premiere

Kelsea Ballerini knows it’s all about the little things when it comes to perfecting a look!

The “Heartfirst” singer, 31, decided to rock the perfect fashion accessory to complete her ensemble for Doctor Odysseus Los Angeles Premiere: Kate Barton Goldfish Bowl Bag (with a small goldfish inside).

In the photos for the event, she was photographed in a gold dress with gold scales and matching gold heels. She styled her hair and wore minimal jewelery for the event, which highlighted her unique accessory which was attached to a silver chain.

Ballerini — who stars on the upcoming ABC show — could be seen posing for photos solo and alongside boyfriend Chase Stokes. He appeared to be wearing a more casual outfit for the event, wearing blue jeans, a black shirt and a brown jacket.

Ballerini and Stokes’ dating comes days after the musician paid a special tribute to him on Instagram in honor of his 32nd birthday. The post included shots of her jumping into Stokes’ arms, the pair hugging, Stokes with her dog, Milo, and Ballerini’s dog, Dibs, and the happy couple kissing.

She even shared a video of Stokes, with whom she initially fueled dating rumors in January 2023 before confirming their relationship in April of that year by receiving what appeared to be a parking ticket.

“This is my favorite human birthday and there is no one on the planet easier to celebrate. I adore you with all my heart @hichasestokes 🤍,” she captioned the post.

However, the “Miss Me More” singer is not the only one who decided to bring a thematic addition to the Doctor Odysseus premiere. Actress Phillipa Soo, 34, also carried a gold handbag with large circular sequins that mimic fish scales. She paired the look with a gold dress and bronze heels.

Soo is part of an all-star cast for Ryan Murphy’s all-new medical procedural, which also includes Joshua Jackson, Sean Teale and Don Johnson. In the show, Jackson plays a doctor on a luxury cruise ship called the Odyssey who manages “unique medical crises” with the help of his medical team “miles from shore,” according to the show’s synopsis.

The series has several notable guest stars lined up for this season alongside the “Miss Me More” singer, including John Stamos, Gina Gershon, Cheyenne Jackson and Chord Overstreet.
