Kendra Wilkinson, 39, Claps Back at Body-Shaming Comments: Not a ‘Playboy Girl’ Anymore

Kendra Wilkinson has taken aim at body shamers, saying that while she has gained weight, she is “happy, healthy and at peace”.

In a Jan. 12 Instagram post, the former Playboy the star posted a selfie in the mirror, responding in the description to those who shame the body.

“Yes, I gained weight. Yes, I’m getting old. Yes, I’m not the girl I used to be (playboy girl) 🤣 but for once in a long time I feel good and mentally healthy,” said Wilkinson, now 39, who was just 18 when she first moved into the Playboy mansion . Her time with the late Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and his other girlfriends, Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison, was chronicled on E! reality show, girls next door, which debuted in 2005.

Since then, she has ventured into real estate, chronicling her career as an agent in the reality show MAX Kendra sells Hollywood.

Wilkinson continued to address her critics in her Instagram post, writing: “For those of you hating on my new weight, 40-year-old face, please know that I am happy, healthy and finally at peace in my life. Leave me alone and respect that I am where I really want to be finally all together.”

“Almost 40 is an amazing feeling and yes to the people criticizing my alcohol intake… I hear you and it will be tracked better. Drinking too much is definitely drinking too much, but you know what comes next in June…. Recordings. 😂,” she added, referring to her 40th birthday on June 12.

Wilkinson, who shares two children with ex-husband Hank Baskett, daughter Alijah Mary Baskett, 10, and son Hank Randall Baskett IV, 15, also spoke about her children, saying, “My kids are everything. I feel quite balanced. A lot more exercise and cooking. Golf, work,” she wrote and added that she is a practical mom: “No housekeeper or babysitter.”

Her clapback earned positive comments from her fans — including one from singer Meghan Trainor, who wrote: “I know you probably don’t remember me, but you and I met about 9-10 years ago in LA. We had lunch together. .. then I thought you were beautiful inside and out, and I still think so now.”

Stupid blonde Podcast host Bunnie XO also chimed in, writing, “Anyone who’s even remotely successful in their life doesn’t have time to destroy another person. Remember that hug ❤️.”
