Keshawar Guha

Keshava Guha is an Indian writer and editor who emerged as a fiction writer in 2019 with his debut novel, Accidental Magic. He was the son of Ramachandra Guha, the famous historian and all-around intellectual.

Keshava Guha was born in 1990 in Delhi, India (age 34 in 2024). He was brought up and educated in an intellectual family in Bangalore (now Bangalore), both his parents were fond of reading. From 2008 to 2013, he received a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Harvard University, Cambridge, USA, and a master’s degree in creative and life writing from Goldsmiths, University of London from 2017 to 2018. Keshava studied publishing at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. Studying for a PhD in Philosophy from 2021 to 2024. Currently, Keshava Guha is headquartered in London, UK.

She is a graphic designer by profession and currently serves as the Creative Director of Varana, a fashion apparel brand that promotes Indian handicraft skills.

Keshava’s grandfather Subramaniam Ramdas Guha is a research specialist and director of the Forest Research Institute in Dehradun, India, and his grandmother is a high school teacher.
