Ketaki Mategaonkar was born on February 22, 1994 in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India (25 years old in 2019). She was born into a family with musical roots. Her family migrated to Pune from Nagpur in the 1990s. She attended Dr. Kalmadi High School in Pune and later completed her graduation in English Literature. Ketaki became interested in music as she grew up listening to lullabies played by her mother.
She loves music very much and whenever she hears her mother singing, she will hum along. She often guessed at the songs her father played on the keyboard. Ketaki began singing children’s songs on various albums at a young age. At the age of 10, she began receiving musical training from her mother. After that, she participated in various concerts.
