Kevin Bacon’s anniversary gift to Kyra Sedgwick wasn’t too baaa-d!
During the bonus episode of the podcast Six degrees with Kevin Baconpublished Thursday, the 65-year-old actor and podcast host explained how a pair of miniature goats was the perfect gift for his wife, 58,’s anniversary during the pandemic.
Bacon and Sedgwick’s pet goats — Louie and Macon — are regulars on Bacon’s social media accounts, but they first joined the family as symbols of love.
“During the pandemic, for some reason I decided to buy Kyra goats for our anniversary,” Bacon said in the bonus episode. Six degrees. “So I went and got these miniature goats. There were two of them. They were super, super cute.”
“I put them in the barn down in the barn; I didn’t tell her about it. I went down and said, ‘I’ve got a surprise for you for our anniversary.’ I took her to the barn, and there were those two goats watching her,” Bacon added. – And she loved them.
The Free the actor and Sedgwick have been married since 1988 and share two children: 34-year-old Travis Bacon and 31-year-old Sosie Bacon.

Louie and Macon are no longer the couple’s only goats. Now, Bacon regularly posts videos of himself singing to a menagerie of farm animals, which as of 2023 included four goats, two pigs, three miniature horses and three alpacas.
Singing Goats, Bacon explained on his podcast, happened as a direct result of a gift from friend Jimmy Fallon.

“Not to drop the name, but Jimmy Fallon randomly sent me this instrument which was a three-string instrument. Almost like a Dobro – if anyone’s familiar with that – with a strumming tone on it. I started playing it and one day I was trying to play this thing, I’m practicing it, I think I’m just going to go out and play with the goats,” Bacon said.
“I’m not entirely sure if I was calming down because I was playing music or if the actual music was having any effect on them, or if their energy was calming me down, but the whole thing felt good.”

So far, Bacon’s songs have included Chicago’s “Saturday in the Park,” the Beatles’ “Two of Us,” Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For” and Beyoncé’s “Heated.”
“People said, ‘We love it when you sing with goats.’ Kevin and I say, ‘Great, have you seen our movies or TV series?’ “Sedgwick told PEOPLE about the couple’s viral TikTok clips in 2023. “But it makes people happy.”
In November, Bacon revealed that goat and pork products were no longer part of his diet. “I love animals, it’s a pleasure to be around them and they calm me down very, very much,” he said.
