Kevin Costner Forensic Accountant Claims Star’s Estranged Wife Christine Spent $18K a Month on Clothing

As Kevin Costner’s court hearing continued Friday regarding his estranged wife Christina’s request for increased child support, the actor’s forensic accountant revealed the alleged spending habits of his client’s ex-partner.

The Yellowstone star forensic accountant Tracy Katz shared a breakdown of the family’s $240,000 monthly expenses, which claims Christine, 49, spent an average of $18,000 a month on designer clothes and more than $3,000 a month on beauty products and treatments.

A forensic accountant claimed the family’s expenses also included about $40,000 a month in gifts and flowers and nearly $9,000 in ATM withdrawals. Katz subtracted those amounts before determining what portion of those monthly expenses were spent on the couple’s three children, sons Cayden, 16, and Hayes, 14, and daughter Grace, 13.

Ultimately, Costner was ordered to pay Christine $63,209 a month in child support after a two-day court hearing in Santa Barbara.

In May, Christine filed for divorce from Costner after 18 years of marriage.

The following month, she asked for $248,000 a month in child support, court documents revealed, which she said was “less than the amount necessary to support the children in their normal lifestyle.”

A judge originally ruled in July that Costner was paying Christine more than $129,000 a month in child support for the couple.

In a briefing ahead of this week’s court hearing in Santa Barbara, Christine asked for $175,057 a month in child support, more than $46,000 more than the $129,000 she was receiving, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

“My biggest concern is that the court is ordering me to pay alimony that is above and beyond my children’s needs and Christina’s needs,” Kevin said in court.
