Kevin Hart Announced as 2024 Recipient of Mark Twain Prize for American Humor: It ‘Feels Surreal’

A great tribute has been paid to Kevin Hart.

On Wednesday, the Kennedy Center announced that the 44-year-old actor and comedian will be the 25th recipient of the Mark Twain Award for American Humor, which is scheduled to be presented during a gala performance at the center’s Concert Hall in Washington, DC, on March 24, 2024.

“I’ve been doing comedy since the inception of this award 25 years ago. To be honored in this commemorative year feels surreal,” Hart said in a statement announcing the news.

“Comedy is my outlet for social commentary and observations about life — I’m grateful to the Kennedy Center for recognizing my voice and impact on culture,” he added. “I can’t wait to celebrate!”
