Khloé Kardashian Meets with Ex-Husband Lamar Odom, Shocks Family in The Kardashians Season 6 Trailer

The Kardashians are surprised by a very unexpected guest in the upcoming season The Kardashians.

In the first trailer for the 6th season The Kardashiansthe famous family manages their various relationships and friendships amidst their ongoing business ventures.

Near the end of the trailer, Khloé Kardashian, 40, admits, “Honestly, I think timing is everything.”

“You’ll never believe who I met,” teases sister Kim Kardashian (44) and mom Kris Jenner (69).

“WHO?” Kim answers as a man’s foot is seen exiting the car.

“This is crazy,” Kim says as Khloé’s ex-husband Lamar Odom walks into someone’s home carrying a bouquet of red roses.

Kim seems surprised by the news, but Kris has a different response, crying in her confessional: “That was the love of her life.”

While it’s not specifically clear if Kris is talking about Khloé and Lamar, Khloé is heard saying, “I don’t know that person anymore.”

A tearful Kris later says that she is “broken for [her] child.”

The segment hints at a reconciliation between Khloé and Lamar, 45, and ends with Khloé yelling to her family, “It’s true. The truth hurts once. A lie hurts 7000 times.”

Khloé and Lamar tied the knot on September 27, 2009 – a month after they met. But in August 2013, the marriage began to unravel following an NBA player cheating scandal and a drug relapse; by that December, Khloé had filed for divorce.

In July 2015, both stars finally signed the divorce papers. That October, Lamar was rushed to the hospital after his years-long struggle with drug addiction came to a head when he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. He remained in the hospital, mostly in a coma, for months.

Despite their ongoing divorce at the time, Khloé rushed to the hospital and stayed by Lamar’s side. The Good American founder – who made all of Lamar’s medical decisions – eventually decided to end their long-running divorce proceedings. However, after Lamar was released from the hospital and on the road to recovery, the two formalized their split in December 2016.

After her divorce from Lamar, Khloé dated NBA player Tristan Thompson. After years of an on-again, off-again relationship and surviving several cheating scandals, the couple split in 2021. They are still on friendly terms as parents to their two children, daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2.
