Kid Cudi Posts Update from Hospital with Fiancée After Second Foot Surgery: 'Feelin Goood Man!!'

Kid Cudi’s second foot surgery was successful!

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, May 22, the rapper, 40, revealed that he underwent a second procedure after breaking his foot while performing at Coachella 2024.

“Just finished my second surgery. It was a success. Feeling good man!! ✌🏾❤️ 🙏🏾☺️🫶🏽 Send me all the love I could really use it 🥹,” Cudi wrote.

The post began with a photo of Cudi giving two thumbs up while lying in a hospital bed. In another picture, he made a silly face while showing off his purple hospital gown and blue cap.

The next day, he expressed his gratitude to his fiancee, Lola Abecassis Sartore, who he said supported him throughout the recovery process.

“My ride or die holdin me down.😘😘 My baby stayed all day and even slept in the hospital. I’m so blessed to have her. Thank God 🥹🙏🏾💞,” the musician wrote in the following post.

The photo shows Cudi grinning from ear to ear as he posed for a photo in a hospital bed next to Sartore.

The bride-to-be commented on the post “Through sickness and through health! 💕💕💕.”

Cudi announced his engagement to Sartore a few days before his performance at the festival.

“My fiancee Lola and I at the premiere of Knuckles. This amazing woman makes me so happy, she is everything to me and I’m so excited to share this news with everyone 🥹 Life is wild, and just when I felt my future was uncertain, she became crystal clear with Lola in full glory 😉🙏🏾,” he wrote on Wednesday, April 17, in an Instagram post.

Shortly after his health scare at Coachella, Cudi said his injury was “a lot more serious than I thought,” revealing that he fractured his calcaneus (heel bone) and canceling his summer tour.

“We have to cancel the tour so I can focus on getting better and you’re out there in top form to rage with you all. There’s just no way I’ll be back in time to give 100%. An injury is a much more serious thought than I am,” he announced in a post on Xformerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday, April 41.
