Kim Kardashian Can’t Handle Seeing What Happens to Her Face with the Viral TikTok Aging Filter: Watch!

Kim Kardashian was just tricked into using TikTok’s viral aging filter.

Thinking her makeup artist Ariel Tejada is taking a selfie video, the 43-year-old SKIMS founder smiles into the camera before realizing Tejada is using an aging filter. “Hahaha, she had no idea it would start to age her,” the 28-year-old wrote in a video he posted on TikTok.

The filter, which ages anyone who tries it by 50 years in seconds, has started aging Kardashian’s face from 2023 onwards. Before the filter could transform her face for a full five decades, the mother-of-four raised her hand at the 2065 mark, stopping the aging effect before viewers could see the 2073 version of her.

As of December 21, the TikTok video has 10.2 million views and thousands of comments, many from people who pointed out that the filter reminded her of her mom, Kris Jenner.

“She’s turning into Kris Jenner,” wrote one TikTok user. Another person commented: “You made her fear come true too quickly.”

When asked in 2017 if she was afraid of getting older, Kardashian admitted to The Cut that she was.

“Every day,” said Kardashian, who was 36 at the time. “Obviously it’s about wisdom. Last night we had dinner with my mom for her birthday. We were talking about the same thing. There is a sense of calmness and wisdom that you get from life. But it’s also bullshit. There is no easy way. … I would trade aging as a disadvantage here.”

Five years later, in 2022, Kardashian’s fear seemed to have subsided.

“I’m at peace with the fact that I’m not perfect and I wasn’t like that before,” she told Allure. “I hate my hands – they’re wrinkled and gross. But I’ve lived my life and changed so many diapers with these hands and cuddled my babies with these hands, so I’m fine with them.

“[Getting older] it doesn’t mean I won’t strive for perfection, but you get to a point where you say, ‘Okay, my health is more important than anything else. … It’s hard to explain because I’m calm, but I’d do anything to look and feel youthful anyway.”

Kardashian previously — and willingly — tried out a different anti-aging filter with her daughter North West in July. They posted the video on their joint TikTok account @KimAndNorth, which now has 17.7 million followers.

Other celebrities have tried anti-aging filters this year, including Kardashian’s sister Kylie Jenner, Today with Hoda and Jenna co-host Jenna Bush Hager and Friends alum Courteney Cox.

“I don’t like it,” Kylie, 26, said on TikTok after posting her own video. “I don’t like it at all. No no.”
