Kim Kardashian Fills Her Massive Bathtub with Chocolate for Elaborate Elf on the Shelf Scene: ‘This Is Crazy’

The Kim Kardashian Elf on the Shelf game is heating up.

The mum-of-four took to Instagram to flaunt her latest elf look, which involved filling a huge bathtub in her bathroom with “hot chocolate”.

“I walked into my bathroom and what do I see in here? The elves left a mess and made Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in here,” she recounted in the video, which pans over a saccharine scene inside her Hidden Hills mansion. “The kitchen said they couldn’t find the mugs, so there’s hot chocolate in the tub.”

The elaborate setup included a pile of marshmallows of various sizes, red and green decorations, chocolate kisses with the word “ELF” written on them, and of course the tub itself, filled with a brown liquid that simulated cocoa. The Kardashian even opened a faucet to show it was real.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan is known for creating very decorative Elf on the Shelf scenes for their children. Khloe Kardashian recently shared via her Snapchat Story, “It’s definitely a lot of work coming up with ideas and setting up the elves every night, but seeing True’s face light up every morning makes it all worth it.”

Khloe’s elf population also increased this Christmas, she said. “True wanted to have two elves this year. One for her and one for Tatum. Hers has earrings and Tatum doesn’t,” she said, showing off a pair of elves.

Earlier this year, Kourtney Kardashian Barker kicked off her own “elf season” with a sledding scene. Her elves were glued to silver foil panels to represent their sleds, while the screen was covered with cotton wool to represent snow. “Elf Sledding now open,” it said at the top of the screen.

Meanwhile, mom Kris Jenner revealed she’s also been busy with some elves and showed off 13 personalized Elf on the Shelf dolls for her 13 grandchildren — including Kardashian Barker’s newborn son, Rocky.

Kim’s chocolate bath is probably the messiest scene anyone in the family has ever attempted. It’s not clear if she used real cocoa powder or some other method to color the water, but the inclusion of marshmallows will certainly solve the awkward situation.

The huge and stark bathroom of the founder of SKIMS previously became the cause of controversy after she toured the space in Vogue Video “73 questions. Her bathroom vanity, which has no visible basin, left fans confused.

She finally revealed the mysteries of her sink, which was created by her then-husband Kanye West, the couple’s interior designer Axel Vervoordt and architect Claudio Silvestrin, in a follow-up Instagram Story.

Kim explained that they made eight prototypes for the sink before settling on this one, then showed how it works. Since there is no lavor, it looks as if the water would run onto the floor or stay on the work surface, but she showed that the surface of the counter has a slight slope, so the water hits the surface and flows into a groove on the edge that serves as a drain.

“You can put it as high pressure as you want and it won’t spray from the back,” she explains.

Kardashian and West reportedly bought the house for $20 million in 2014, but Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, chirped in April 2018 that the house was worth $60 million at the time. During their divorce, Kardashian bought the house and all its belongings from West for $23 million. She continued to live there with their four children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
