Kim Min-Jae (born November 15, 1996) is a South Korean professional footballer who plays for Serie A club Napoli and the South Korean national team.

Biography of Kim Min-Jae
Kim was born in Tongyeong city. Both his father and mother are involved in sports, so is his brother, a goalkeeper at Myongji University.
Kim started his soccer career as a child with the Tongyeong Elementary School football team. He eventually went to Gaya Primary School in Haman, where he graduated. He attended Yeoncho High School and Suwon Technical High School, where he met Park Ji-sung and Kim Sun-min, two international players.
He attended Yonsei University after graduating from high school in 2015. He left the school in July 2016, while still a sophomore, to pursue his desire to debut professionally, despite opposition of Yonsei University.

Career
- On July 1, 2016, Kim joined Gyeongju KHNP, a semi-pro team, and has been a member of the Korean National League since mid-season 2016. Kim played 15 games for KHNP at the end of the regular season, helping his club reach the knockout stages.
- Kim joined Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors on a free transfer on December 22, 2016.
- During the pre-season training camp in Dubai, Jeonbuk coach Choi Kang-hee expressed confidence in him and hired him as a key player from the start.
- On June 25, 2017, Kim scored his first goal in a K League 1 match against Daegu FC. On August 19, he scored Jeonbuk’s second goal against Gwangju FC with a mid-range volley. On September 20, he was dropped from the match against Sangju Sangmu due to a cumulative warning.
- Kim was selected for the South Korean team for the final two World Cup qualifying matches against Iran and Uzbekistan on August 14, 2017. On August 31, 2017, Kim made his debut against Iran, sending off Iran’s Saeid Ezatolahi also made an excellent save for 84 minutes . Kim made his debut against Uzbekistan on September 5, helping South Korea keep another clean sheet. South Korea qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the tenth time in a row thanks to those matches. However, he suffered an injury on 8 May 2018 and was unable to compete at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
- On September 1, 2018, South Korea defeated Japan 2-1 in the 2018 Asian Games gold medal match. The result was their victory, Kim and his teammates. exempted from military service, reducing their two-year military service to just a few weeks of basic training.
