King Charles Is All Smiles as He Attends Sunday Church Service Close to the Sandringham Estate

King Charles was out.

The royal, 76, attended a Sunday service at St Mary the Virgin Church in Flitcham, England on January 26.

The church is located near King Charles’ private country estate and Queen Camilla’s private estate, Sandringham Estate.

Charles was seen engaging warmly with others as he walked outside in the church grounds with the Reverend Canon Paul Williams and the Right Reverend Stephen Lake.

For the day outing, King Charles wore a beige wool coat over a light blue shirt and patterned tie.

He paired the outfit with dark gray trousers and tan dress shoes.

Charles’ trip came a day after Buckingham Palace released a new photo of the king to mark the annual Scottish celebration honoring the birthday and life of poet Robert Burns.

In the portrait, he wore a waistcoat and suit jacket paired with a King Charles III tartan kilt as he stood in the library of the royal family’s Scottish holiday home at Balmoral, Aberdeenshire.

King Charles recently hosted his first official royal event of 2025 as he continues cancer treatment during a Holocaust memorial and education event on January 13.

The king met three organizations dedicated to educating the next generation about the Holocaust at the event, which was held at Buckingham Palace in London.

Last week, King Charles met D-Day veteran Jim Glennie, 99, according to the BBC.

The King reportedly inspected renovations at the Gordon Highlanders Museum in Aberdeen, Scotland.

“You are a great example to all of us. If I may say so. It really is,” said the veterans, upon exiting.
