Kiran Agarwal’s son, Agnivesh Agarwal, stepped down on March 2, 2019 to become Chairman and Chairman of Hindustan Zinc Limited. Director, a subsidiary of Vedanta Limited (founded by her husband Anil Agarwal) and the Government of India. On January 18, 2023, Kiran Agarwal resigned as Chairman and Director to be succeeded by her daughter, Priya Agarwal Hebbar. Kiran Agarwal’s resignation is to assist Anil Agarwal’s charitable mission which he is pursuing by returning 75% of his wealth. She is a trustee of the Vedanta Foundation, handles the charitable activities of Vedanta Ltd. and is a board member of Agarwal Galvanizing Private Limited. Kiran Agarwal played an important role in the start-up of Nand Ghar, an institution for the underprivileged.

Woka stands for Kieran Agarwal’s World, an animated series created, written and hosted by Kieran Agarwal. She is the chairman of Woka Creations, and her son-in-law Akarsh Hebbar is a director of the company. Speaking about the inspiration for Woka, Kiran Agarwal said:
I want to create digital content that parents can trust, that kids can watch without question and hesitation, and I tell everyone involved with WOKA that WOKA is actually for parents. In a sense, this is an initiative to give back to society. Ideally, I want all kids to see our animated videos, laugh, sing, dance, and enjoy the characters. Everything in WOKA is for children. ”
Kiran Agarwal presents the series ‘Sabak Degi Naani’ through Woka. YouTube channel Woka Hindi has 32,500 subscribers by 2023 and Woka English has 20,600 subscribers by 2023. Kiran Agarwal has also published books under the Woka brand. These books are moral stories for children, focusing on life stories, fairy tales, etc. One example is the “Grandma’s Stories” series. According to Kiran Agarwal, Woka hopes to inspire the younger generation through consumer content such as music, songs, 2D colorful animations and cute and relatable characters that impart values through education.
