Kourtney Kardashian Reveals ‘Construction Zone’ at Her Home as Backyard Project Gets Underway

Kourtney Kardashian expects big changes in 2024!

In an Instagram story on Sunday, the mom of four revealed that her home is currently a “construction zone.”

Kardashian, 44, said nothing in the video, but zoomed the camera lens next to a cushion on the living room couch to focus on the scene behind the glass door in her backyard — a large mound of dirt that was surrounded by yellow caution tape.

Although it is not clear what is being built, the Kardashians are known for their extravagant house projects.

In November, Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker had a baby, a son, Rocky Thirteen. In Sunday’s video, the stroller was parked in the living room, facing the construction zone.

Kardashian is also mother to daughter Penelope Scotland, 11, and sons Reign Aston, 8, and Mason Dash, 13, with ex Scott Disick. Barker shares daughter Alabama, 18, and son Landon, 19, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. The Blink-182 drummer is also the father of a stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya (24).

The busy parents kicked off 2024 with a strong appearance at the Emmy Awards, where all eyes were on them as they shared a kiss in matching black suits while posing for photos on the carpet.

Barker was at the awards ceremony at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles to help host Anthony Anderson and the Compton, California choir open the show with a rendition of Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight.”

For the performance, the stage was styled as “Mr. Anderson’s Neighborhood,” a reference to the classic children’s play Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.

“I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life… I just played the most famous drums of all time at the Emmys. I love you, Phil Collins,” Barker tweeted after the performance.
