Kourtney Kardashian Says She Wants to Avoid 'Prolapse' After Giving Birth: 'Your Vagina Can Fall Out.' Is That a Thing?

Kourtney Kardashian Barker says she’s not worried about “10 lbs.” must lose to get back to her pre-pregnancy weight after giving birth to son Rocky in November.

She is, however, worried about her vagina.

Kourtney (45) shared her health issues with her mom Kris Jenner (68) in the new episode The Kardashians. While looking at wardrobe options for the Emmys – where husband Travis Barker was performing – Kourtney told mum Kris she was looking for “baggy suits”.

Kourtney stated that I “care about getting back” to my pre-pregnancy weight, but since she’s breastfeeding, “I’m taking my time, and they say you shouldn’t run or jump for six months to keep your vagina intact.”

During her confession, the producer asks Kourtney, “What does it mean to keep your vagina intact?”

“Well, you can have a prolapse,” Kourtney replies, “and that’s where your vagina can, like, fall out, I mean.”

In short, she is right. The Cleveland Clinic explains: “Vaginal prolapse is a condition in which your vagina slips out of position. This happens when the tissues and muscles in your pelvis become weak and overstretched.”

“It is more common in people who have had multiple vaginal births during childbirth and are past menopause.”

In addition to Rocky, Kourtney has three children — son Reign, 9, daughter Penelope, 11, and son Mason, 14 — with ex-husband Scott Disick.

“Supposedly, there are things you can do to stay up,” Kourtney explains.

“That makes sense, she should do pilates,” Kris tells her.

“I’m doing pilates tomorrow,” Kourtney replies, adding that she just “walked” for her workout.

As Health points out, Pilates can strengthen your pelvic floor, but in the case of vaginal prolapse, “You can’t push a prolapsed vagina back,” says the Cleveland Clinic.

Instead, treatment includes non-surgical therapies — like Kegel exercises and vaginal inserts — as well as surgery, which is an option “for more severe cases.”
