Krispy Kreme Drops 4 New Heart-Shaped Donuts for Valentine’s Day

Krispy Kreme knows how to get into the Valentine’s Day spirit.

On Monday, the donut chain unveiled the Dough-Notes Collection — four new heart-shaped (and cream-filled!) donuts. Seasonal treats are available from January 29 through Valentine’s Day.

The red sprinkled “You Color My World” donut is filled with Kreme cookie dough filling, and the pink, sugar-covered “You’re Berry Sweet” donut is filled with classic white filling and dipped in strawberry frosting and sprinkles.

For chocolate lovers, the “I Love You A Choco-Lot” Chocolate Iced Donut is the perfect choice – and pretty too. (Comes with an adorable rose on top!)

Finally, the cutely named “I’d Fall Apart Without You” donut comes with a Kreme cookie dough filling and is topped with chocolate frosting and crumbled chocolate chip cookies.

Four donuts are not only tasty, but also functional. The aptly-named Dough-Notes collection can be purchased in a dozen units – which includes two of each flavor, as well as four classic glazed donuts – in a box that includes space for a handwritten note.

Guests can personalize their own Valentine’s Day gift, and Krispy Kreme employees will also use a custom box to write messages to customers, per the chain.

The six-pack of heart-shaped treats — which includes a cake batter donut, a chocolate donut and the chain’s classic chocolate sprinkles for Valentine’s Day — will be available at select stores, including Walmart, Kroger, Food Lion, Publix, Stater Brothers, Wakefern and more .

Dairy Queen is also a must on the holiday of love. DQ has announced that it will be bringing back its Red Velvet Cake Blizzard Treat and Red Velvet Cake Blizzard Cupid Cake — two desserts with a red and pink theme — for Valentine’s Day starting January 29.

DQ’s Red Velvet Cake Blizzard features red velvet cake pieces, cream cheese frosting topped with the company’s soft serve, which aims to bring a “luxurious and velvety smooth experience” to customers celebrating the season of love.

Cupid Cake is a trendy heart-shaped cake with a base layer of DQ’s vanilla soft serve, a center of red velvet cake pieces and cream cheese frosting. It is covered with a layer of Red Velvet Cake Blizzard.
