Kristin Cavallari Talks Saying Goodbye to ‘Divorce House’ Where She ‘Healed’ After Jay Cutler Split

Kristin Cavallari is giving up on a big reminder of her divorce from Jay Cutler.

The Laguna Beach The alum, 37, opened up about why she decided to put her home in Franklin, Tenn. on the market. during the June 25 episode of his podcast Let’s be honest with Kristin Cavallari. She has called the property home since 2020, after splitting from her ex-husband of nearly seven years, Jay Cutler, in April.

“I decided to buy a new house,” Cavallari says during the episode. “I didn’t look, but my realtor said, ‘Trust me, you want to come see this house.’ And I completely fell in love with it. It was a big decision for me because I really love my current house and I made this house exactly the way I want it.”

When asked if the house she is selling reminds her of her divorce, she replies that the house still “means” to her, but she is ready to leave it.

“This is the house where I healed and in a way, yes, this is like my divorce house,” she explains. “But there’s something about completely starting over and starting fresh now. I feel like I’m in a completely different place in my life than I was four years ago obviously.”

She concludes, “I think it’s going to be really nice to have that brand new start.”

Cavallari and Cutler first met in 2010 and got engaged in April 2011 after eight months of dating. After calling off their engagement later that year, the couple reconciled and eventually tied the knot in June 2013.

Before they tied the knot, they welcomed their first child together, a son named Camden, in August 2012. Along with Camden, now 11, the Uncommon James founder and former NFL player also have a son, Jaxon, 10, and a daughter Saylor, 8.

The couple officially filed for divorce in April 2020, with Cavallari citing “irreconcilable differences” and “marital misconduct” as the reasons for the divorce.

Since then, the mother of three has found new love with 24-year-old TikToker, Mark Estes. The couple was first officially announced on Instagram in February 2024 after Cavallari shared a photo of the pair on vacation together in Mexico.

Later in February, a source told PEOPLE that the couple had “been dating longer than people think” but “kept it very private.”

Cavallari and Estes met on “social media,” according to the source. The Montana Boyz member later confirmed that he reached out to his now-girlfriend first.

“They’re really happy together. He’s been so good to her and he’s a really good boyfriend,” the insider added at the time. “He’s not a typical 24-year-old. She’s having a great time and living her best life with him.”

In June, the couple traveled to the Bahamas to spend quality time together with Cavallari’s three children.
