And just like that, Sarah Jessica Parker turned 59 – and so did she Sex and the city Costars are celebrating their special day!
On Monday, Parker’s closest friends and co-stars took to Instagram to pay tribute to the actress and her final trip around the sun.
In a series of photos she shared on her Instagram Story, Kristin Davis posted pictures of the dynamic duo through the ages.
“Happy birthday to my awesome friend,” Davis, 59, captioned a snap of her and Parker from the early 2000s. She followed up her post with another picture of the two filming the HBO original series. “I’m so happy for your presence in my life”

Her last slide included a picture of them filming SATC revival series, And just like that. Parker could be seen clutching a JW Anderson dove from season two, while Davis was dressed in a slim black ensemble with a pink satin bow and white peterpan collar.
“Rain or shine, you are a constant,” she said.

Cynthia Nixon also celebrated Parker with her Instagram Story.
“To the woman with the best laugh in the world — happy birthday my friend,” Nixon, 57, captioned a collage of the two friends at the Emmy Awards, laughing on the red carpet and sipping coffee on set Sex and the city.
Parker, Davis and Nixon starred as Carrie Bradshaw, Charlotte York and Miranda Hobbes respectively opposite Sammantha Jones Kim Cattrall in Sex and the city from 1998 to 2004.
They went on to reprise their roles in 2004 and 2008 for two films and the trio continues to tell the stories of the beloved characters in their revival series, And just like that…

Davis and Nixon weren’t the only ones to wish Parker a happy birthday.
Her close friend Andy Cohen followed suit and shared a photo of him and Parker at the Met Gala. “Happy Birthday!” The Bravo mogul captioned the photo of Parker posing on the steps of a museum while looking up at his companion. “(Thanks for always taking me to fun places).”

In her own Instagram post, Parker celebrated turning 59 in true Carrie fashion by sharing a picture of a pair of shoes she had been saving for the special moment.
“My birthday boots,” she captioned the post. “I was waiting for a chance. He walked me to @savoytheatreldn and then on into the night, after the show.”
