According to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star’s Instagram Story, Kourtney Kardashian may be getting a drastic new hairstyle at the hands of Blink-182’s Travis Barker. The two have been together a while now, garnering both excitement and outrage from fans as the happy couple posts more and more intimate photos together on social media. Lately, fans feel that the closeness between Kourtney and Travis is excessive, and they are growing rather annoyed. Nevertheless, as the couple becomes more and more serious, even spontaneous haircuts may just be on the table.
Besides the PDA, there are other signs that the two may be moving very fast. Just a few days ago, Travis’ daughter, Alabama, spilled just how close the couple really is. In a game of “Never Have I Ever” over Instagram Live, Alabama referred to Kourtney as her “step-mom.” Such news took the Internet by storm and did nothing to dissuade current rumors that Kourtney and Travis may be engaged.
This week, Kourtney posted a photo of a lock of her hair to her Instagram Story. Overlayed on the dark length of hair, she wrote, “Haircuts by @travisbarker.” She’s hinting that not only may the star be coming out with a new hairdo but also that her boyfriend (and possible fiancé) may have been the resident barber in charge of the cut. Barker himself reposted the picture onto his Instagram Story as well but with no added caption.
Couples cutting each other’s hair has become rather commonplace in the midst of the global pandemic, and even celebrities were forced to stay home. Even Kourtney’s sister Kim had a homemade haircut in her home, as Saint West hilariously cut his own hair. Although the pandemic may not be the reason anymore for these hair DIYs (and mishaps), it seems Kourtney and Travis are keeping the practice going as the world opens up again.
News of their relationship comes after the final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, in which Scott Disick, Kourtney’s ex-boyfriend and father of her children, admitted to wanting to get back together with Kourtney. Fans and family alike rooted for the two, but by the release of the season, Kourtney had reportedly already fallen in love with Travis. Most recently, Scott has been dating Amelia Gray, daughter of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Lisa Rinna. It seems, for now, Kourtney and Scott are happier apart, especially as they are known to co-parent well together.
