Love Is Blind Season 2 stars Kyle Abrams and Deepti Vempati have announced their split. Kyle revealed that he and Deepti are no longer romantically involved in an Instagram post following the release of three episodes of After The Altar on Netflix. The actor of the series “Blind Love” said that he has moved and is now dating someone else, details of which he decided to keep a secret.
He also expressed gratitude to fans and followers for their support throughout the duo’s journey and promised to enjoy “every day in the present without any regrets.” .
The Blind Love star said in the announcement:
“I realize that many of you are wondering where Deepti and I are now. We agreed to part ways early in the summer after filming After the Alter. Since then I started a new relationship that I wanted to keep hidden until now.

Kyle and Deepti’s blind love affair
Kyle and Deepti were members of the second season of Love Is Blind, which premiered in February 2022, and quickly became friends on the show. Deepti accepts Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee’s proposal, while Kyle proposes to Shaina Hurley, however, neither couple succeeds. While Deepti gave up Shake and chose “himself”, Kyle and Shaina decided to go their separate ways even before they planned to get married. Kyle admitted during the show’s March 4, 2022 reunion that his “biggest regret” from the show was not having proposed to Deepti.
Deepti admitted to E! News that same month that Kyle was her #2 packer and she was torn between Shake and Kyle. The Love Is Blind star, on the other hand, pondered what might happen if she chose the latter and stated:
“Who knows, if I pick Kyle, what will happen if we don’t succeed because they’re watching us closely? I believe we can do things our way now. So let’s see what happens.”
Kyle reveals to EVERYONE that he is opposed to having a serious relationship with Deepti. He notes that if he fails, he loses the relationship he holds so dearly with his co-workers, adding:
“I was once in a situation where you started dating your best friend and then broke up with them. You can’t really meet that person because it won’t be fair to you in the future. I don’t want my current girlfriend to see her ex-boyfriend again. Unacceptable. That would be unacceptable to me.”
Both Love is Blind stars teased the status of their relationship for months before going public on After the Altar. Netflix released a three-part mini-series on September 16, 2022. For three episodes, Kyle and Deepti thought about starting a relationship, but feared the consequences if the latter didn’t work out.
“I am really worried about you. I admire you and all the problems you face seem like mine. If something goes wrong – even if you have a flat tire – I feel it’s my problem. I will help you and take care of everything for you because I really care about you.
Two other couples from the second season of Love Is Blind, Danielle Ruhl-Nick Thompson and Iyanna McNeely-Jarette Jones, also announced the end of their marriage. Just over a year after getting married on the Netflix show, the couple announced their separation. Currently, none of the couples in the series are together. According to series creator Chris Coelen, the third season of Love is Blind has begun filming and will air on October 19, 2022. The series has been renewed for two more seasons.
