Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s Relationship Timeline

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet kept fans guessing for months before they made their first public appearance together.

The reality TV star and the Oscar-nominated actor were first romantically linked in April 2023, but only made their public debut when they were spotted kissing on Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour in early September.

Jenner dated rapper Travis Scott for six years before they split in January. The couple has two children: daughter Stormi and son Aire. Chalamet has his own famous relationship history, having previously been linked to Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon and actress Lily-Rose Depp.

After performing at the concert, the couple was seen together at New York Fashion Week and the 2023 US Open. A source told PEOPLE that Jenner and Chalamet’s relationship is “fun and uncomplicated” for the mom of two.

January 2023: Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet seen interacting at Paris Fashion Week

Although the pair have only been romantically involved as of late in the year, Jenner and Chalamet were first seen interacting at Paris Fashion Week while attending the Jean Paul Gaultier show in January. IN videos later circulated on social media, the duo could be seen chatting and laughing in a group.

April 14, 2023: Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet “get to know each other”

The Dune The star was rumored to be dating Jenner when photos of Jenner’s Range Rover parked in his driveway circulated, according to TMZ.

The photos come a week after celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi posted an anonymous tip that Chalamet “has a new girlfriend,” naming Jenner.

A source told PEOPLE at the time that the two were “hanging out and getting to know each other.”

April 19, 2023: Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet hang out “every week”

A Jenner source told PEOPLE that she and Chalamet are “hanging out every week,” but added that it’s “not serious.”

“She’s getting to know him,” the insider said. “Kylie is having fun. After years of being with Travis [Scott]she just wants to date without any pressure.”

The source added that the two met at an event in Europe earlier in 2023 and “have a lot to talk about.”

After breaking up with Scott in January, an insider said her family supported her in moving on and finding a new boyfriend.

“Everyone wants Kylie to move on,” the source said. “Everyone in the family is happy and supportive of Kylie’s relationship.”

May 29, 2023: Kylie Jenner still occasionally sees Timothée Chalamet

A month after rumors swirled around the two, a source told PEOPLE that Jenner is still seeing Chalamet, however, it’s still “not serious.”

“Kylie loves going out, but her main focus is being a mom,” the insider said.

July 28, 2023: Travis Scott seemingly overshadows Kylie Jenner’s new relationship

On Scott’s album, utopiathe rapper appeared to throw shade at Chalamet with a line from his song “Meltdown.”

Scott rapped about a “Willy Wonka factory” which could be a reference to Chalamet’s new character in his upcoming film, Wonka. He then seemingly challenged his ex to find another man “handsome like me”.

“Chocolate AP and chocolate opponents got the Willy Wonka factory (Vs)/ Burn the jock like it’s a calorie, find another flame as hot as me, bitch,” he sang.

September 5, 2023: Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are seen kissing at a Beyoncé concert

Jenner and Chalamet packed a PDA while enjoying Beyoncé’s performance at SoFi Stadium. The outing marked their first public appearance – and the first time fans have seen them together.

In a video shared on social media, the two young stars chat, and Jenner is even caught laughing while Chalamet smokes a cigarette. They were joined by Jenner’s sister, Kendall Jenner.

Video obtained by TMZ showed the two kissing multiple times throughout the night.

A source told PEOPLE that the relationship is “fun and uncomplicated” for Jenner.

“They have been seeing each other for six months. He makes Kylie happy,” the insider said. “He has his own life and understands that Kylie needs to prioritize her children.”

“He’s charming, loving and protective of Kylie,” the source added. “She likes that he’s a private guy.”

September 8, 2023: Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet attend a New York Fashion Week dinner

Jenner was Chalamet’s companion at a New York Fashion Week dinner celebrating designer Haider Ackermann’s collaboration with Augustinus Bader. According to Voguethe arrival of the actor with the cosmetics mogul “made noise” in the room.

September 10, 2023: Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet at the US Open

The couple attended the men’s singles final match between Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev at the 2023 US Open. In photos and videos, Jenner and Chalamet embraced.

September 21, 2023: Kylie Jenner uses a favorite photo with Timothée Chalamet as her phone wallpaper

Jenner is smitten with Chalamet and isn’t afraid to show it. During Milan Fashion Week, ELLE Mexico caught a glimpse of the make-up artist’s phone wallpaper, which featured a photo of the actor sweetly stroking Jenner.

November 1, 2023: Timothée Chalamet supports Kylie Jenner at WSJ. Magazine Awards for innovators

Jenner received the award for Brand Innovator of the Year WSJ. Magazine. Although the pair didn’t walk the red carpet together, they sat at the same table and left the event together after Chalamet presented Martin Scorsese with the award for Cinematic Innovator of the Year.

November 11, 2023: Kylie Jenner supports Timothée Chalamet as he hosts Saturday night live

After Chalamet’s second guest appearance for Saturday night live, Jenner joined him at the afterparty in New York. She was spotted in an all-black outfit heading to the event, although she arrived separately from Chalamet.

November 28, 2023: Kylie Jenner supports Timothée Chalamet at the film’s premiere Wonka

Jenner traveled to London to support Chalamet at the premiere of his film Wonka. She didn’t walk the red carpet with her beau, but a source confirmed to PEOPLE that she was present at both the premiere and the afterparty.
