Sarah Michelle Gellar and her friends can’t get Kylie Minogue out of their heads after meeting the “Padam Padam” singer at her Las Vegas residence.
“Vegas high!!,” Gellar, 46, said on Instagram after watching Friday’s show at The Venetian’s Voltaire Theater. “It’s a great vibe. Best night with my boys and the woman I call #mother.β
“Mother” Minogue, 55, responded to Buffy the Vampire Slayer star with, “Yes SMG. Loved meeting you all ππππππππππ”

Gellar attended the show with Teen Wolf producer and writer Jeff Davis, Showboy BakeShop owner Stephen Lowry and entrepreneur Jared Sullivan before meeting the “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” singer backstage.
Lowry and Sullivan, who appeared on the Food Network Cupcake warsannounced on Showboy BakeShop’s Instagram profile that they celebrated the night out with Kylie-themed cookies, “Padam Padam” friendship bracelets, and Kylie Minogue prosecco rosΓ© wine.
Fans of both the stars were surprised and delighted to see them together. One fan, who grew up listening and watching them, simply tweeted, “My childhood.” Another fan said: “Mother and mother motherhood β€οΈπ₯.”

At the Vegas residency β dubbed More Than Just a Residency β Gellar and Voltaire’s audience watched Minogue perform songs from her nearly four-decade career, including her 1987 cover of “The Loco-Motion” and her recent viral hit “Padam Padam β from the 2023 album Tension.
βI always thought I would do something in Vegas,β Minogue told PEOPLE in September 2023. βMany moons ago it was seen as your retirement plan, and it’s just had such a renaissance that artists just love it. β¦ better start collecting the rings and give it my all Liberace.β
