In 2013, Labh Singh Ugoke became a volunteer member of the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab, India. Soon after joining the Aam Aadmi Party in Barnala district, he was appointed as a member of the monitoring committee called DISHA. Later, in the same district, he was appointed as District President of SC Wing. Labh Singh Ugoke contested the March 2022 Assembly elections from Badal constituency and defeated Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Chani from the same constituency. - Apart from being a politician, Labh Singh Ugoke also runs a mobile phone repair shop in his village. Shortly after completing his studies, he obtained a diploma in mobile maintenance. However, Labh Singh Ugoke closed his mobile phone repair shop in 2019.
- After winning the Punjab Assembly election in March 2022, Rab Singh Ugok said at a press conference that his father was a driver and his mother was a cleaner at a public university in Punjab.
- According to an affidavit filed by Labh Singh Ugoke with the Election Commission of India, Labh Singh Ugoke only owns a Hero Honda motorcycle which he purchased in 2014.
