Lainey Wilson Cancelled Her Weekend Show Due To A Family Issue

On Wednesday, July 27, country singer-songwriter Lainey Wilson, who will perform Abby in Yellowstone, announced on Instagram the cancellation of her weekend concerts in Iowa. The Things a Man Oughta Know singer revealed in a statement that she had to cancel due to a family situation. In the post she said:

“I will not be able to perform at this weekend’s concerts in Maquoketa, Iowa, and Arnold Park, Iowa. I apologize for canceling at the last minute, but know that I wouldn’t cancel if the situation wasn’t important. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.”

Wilson’s first post did not mention the family situation. Just hours later, she shared a photo of herself with her father and asked fans to pray for him. The title read:

“My father [sic]. That’s my cowboy. Please continue to pray for him.”
