Following a May renewal, Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules recently began production on Season 10 of the reality TV series. Lala Kent was not sure if she would return to the program until 24 hours before production began. She just made a stunning announcement that she will be returning to the beloved program. Along with Lala, all the stars of Season 9 will return, including James, Katie, Schwartz, Raquel, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, Scheana Shay, Brock Davies and Charlie Burnett.
The Vanderpump Rules star is now single and focusing her efforts on her child, work and book promotion. She also runs her beauty business from home and supervises the staff. Many may be wondering what made Lala decide to return to the reality show with so much on her plate.

Why did Lala Kent decide to return for Vanderpump Rules Season 10?
Lala told US Weekly that filming a reality show is really exhausting. She also said that they started filming two days ago and she wasn’t sure if she wanted to come back until the night before it started. The Vanderpump Rules actress also said that she debated whether or not to participate in season 10. She longed to have the camera on her face after watching an original episode of The Real Housewives of New York (RHONY).
Lala also said that Vanderpump Rules season 10 will be the first time fans will see her single. She further said that they haven’t seen her alone since she first appeared on the show, and that even in season 4 she was hooked on her ex, who was an inscrutable person.
Lala went on to say that in previous seasons she was spotted having sex with James Kennedy every five seconds and that she was in a relationship after that. As a result, this would be her first appearance on the program as a “totally single” person. The Vanderpump Rules actress also said that fans will see her focus on her child and transition into the dating scene, something she is very excited about.
Lala also said that her life is not the same as it was during season 9 and that she is in a good position. In the sequel, she expressed her joy at being reunited with her friends, which made her forget about the cameras. Lala also said that this is her third season of sobriety and that it was the biggest ever.

After a series of ups and downs with Jax Taylor, Lala stated that she only had one valid reason to continue her friendship with him. The Vanderpump Rules actress told US Weekly that she was friends with him because Brittany Cartwright was one of her closest friends. Kala used Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz’s marriage as an example, saying that if the couple were still married, she would have to navigate those waters the same way she does with Jax and Brittany.
She also said that the on-screen turmoil is ruining her off-screen friendships. She further said that sometimes she wondered why she couldn’t have a normal life. However, she answered the question herself, stating that if she was normal and didn’t bother with small things, she wouldn’t have a reality show. Lala may be successful in every aspect of her life, but there is one area where she is stuck. Her Bravo profile reads:

On the other hand, Katie and Lala seem to be doing well. After learning about the latter’s divorce from Tom, Lala said that she felt lighter. She opened it, saying that the gravity was gone and it was a pleasure to see Katie in such a vulnerable state.
Lala went on to say that she stuck by Katie during her separation and divorce from Tom, and that the Vanderpump Rules actress opened up to her a lot. She went on to say that there was something in Katie’s eyes that made her seem cheerful. As for her relationship with Tom, Lala said she won’t be talking to him anytime soon. Lala said on What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that she broke up with Tom and hasn’t spoken to him since. She further said that she felt betrayed by him because he continued to hang out with Randall even though he knew he was cheating on her.
