In 1972, Radulhoma was appointed as the principal assistant by C. Chhunga, the first chief minister of Mizoram. From 1972 to 1977, he served as Principal Assistant in the Office of the Chief Minister of Mizoram. After graduation, he passed the Indian Civil Service Examination and joined the Indian Police Service in 1977 as a squad leader in Goa. In 1982, he was transferred to New Delhi as a security guard for Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He was later promoted to deputy commissioner of police. In the 2003 elections, he was elected to the Mizoram Legislative Assembly from Ratua parliamentary constituency as a Zoram Nationalist Party (ZNP) candidate. In 1997, the Mizo National Front (MNF) founded by Raduhoma was renamed the Zoram Nationalist Party (ZNP). On April 17, 2021, Raduhoma was re-elected in the Aizawl West I and Shership constituencies by defeating his MNF opponent Vanlalzawma by 3,310 votes in the by-election.
