Lance Bass and AJ McLean Joke They’re in Their ‘Pink Era’ as They Show Off Dyed Hair: ‘Girl Dads’

Lance Bass and AJ McLean are proud daddies of girls!

On Sunday, *NSYNC star Bass, 44, took to Instagram to share a video of himself lip-syncing and dancing to Muni Long’s “Made For Me” while showing off his pink hairdo.

Backstreet Boys singer McLean, 46, then appeared in the video wearing his own pink ‘do as he sang to Bass, belting out lines including, “Where have you been?” as Bass lip-synced, “No one knows me like you do.”

“When you’re both in your pink era,” Bass captioned the video, which ended with them hugging and dancing together. “Daddy girls 🙌🏼,” he captioned the post.

Bass, who dyed her hair pink last month, has two-year-old twins – son Alexander James and daughter Violet Betty – with husband Michael Turchin, 37, whom she married in 2014.

Meanwhile, McLean, who has been showing off her pink dress since earlier this month, shares daughters Lyric, six, and Elliot, 11, with estranged wife Rochelle, 42. The couple revealed they had split last March before confirming they were calling it quits after 12 years together in January.

Bass’ video comes after he spoke to PEOPLE earlier this month about life as a father.

“I feel like every day is a different milestone and it’s just amazing,” the musician said. “They’re in school now, which I think is really crazy — they’re little people now.”

“They can communicate with you. You have these conversations and it’s so surreal to think that just two years ago, which seems like yesterday, they were just little blobs on the couch and they couldn’t do anything,” he continued.

Bass added, “Now they’re little stinkers trying to upset you. It was just the most helpful thing ever.”
