She was not even present at yesterday’s heated press conference in Saudi Arabia.

But Woods posted a heartfelt message on Friday night revealing she was unable to attend the clash following a horrific injury while on holiday with boyfriend Adam Collard.

The fan favorite revealed that she accidentally smashed a glass lampshade above her head, causing it to shatter and cut her face and hand.

Woods was taken to the emergency clinic by Love Island star Collard, who stayed by her side as she was examined by doctors who opened their offices on their day off.

But Woods feels she is on the mend as she continues to recover, and has thanked those who came to her aid as she defiantly vows to “be back in no time”.

She posted on Instagram: “I just wanted to explain my short absence from television, to be completely transparent and avoid any speculation.

“Last weekend I had an accident at the cottage. I swung a pillow and hit a large, glass lampshade hanging from the ceiling above me, which shattered and cut my face and hands, but luckily missed my eye.

“I wanted to say a few thanks, firstly to Adam, who was my hero that day, he acted so quickly and didn’t leave me since then and to his family for taking care of me when I was petrified.

“To my agents Alex Maguire and Matthew Odonohue at CAA who immediately sought the best help.

“To Dr. Yannis Alexandrides and his wonderful 111 physician assistant Zuzanna who opened their emergency room and came on their days off, they were so gentle and already worked magic that I didn’t think it was possible to minimize the damage.

“I’ve added photos from then to now to show that although it may look rough, it’s already such a wonderful progress and I’m so grateful.

“It was a hell of a shock and I was a bit sad, but I feel very lucky that it wasn’t worse. So a big thank you to my eyebrow too, which took the brunt of it.

“I’m gutted that I can no longer watch tomorrow’s fight in Riyadh, but I wish all the best to the brilliant TNT boxing team. I’ll be back soon xx.”
