Lauren Alaina Shares Highlights from Her Maui Honeymoon — Including a Golf Course Photo Op with ‘Legend’ Alice Cooper

Lauren Alaina shares a look at her honeymoon adventures — including meeting a music legend.

On Monday, the country singer, 29, posted a photo on Instagram of her and her new husband Cam Arnold posing with Alice Cooper on a golf course in Maui, where they were vacationing after their Feb. 4 wedding. Another shot captured Arnold and the 76-year-old rock star standing together on the green, seemingly in the middle of a round of golf.

– We will never forget this day as long as we live – Alaina wrote in the description of the post of hanging out with Cooper. “Best 18 Cameron has ever played. [Cooper] is a legend.” It appears the “Poison” singer — who Alaina said “loves his wife” — also took time to offer the newlyweds some words of wisdom about marriage. (He and Sheryl Goddard will celebrate their 48th wedding anniversary in March .)

“We are so grateful for the advice and insight he gave us at the beginning of our marriage. School’s out forever 🤘🏼,” Alaina continued, nodding to Cooper’s classic 1972 anthem, “School’s Out.”

A person asked in the comments if the couple’s meeting with Cooper was “just a random coincidence,” to which Alaina replied, “YES!”

Before announcing her golf outing, the “Don’t Judge a Woman” singer shared a series of photos on Instagram showing highlights of her and Arnold’s Hawaiian honeymoon. In one photo, the couple posed together during a stunning sunset.

Another saw them swimming in the pool, with Alaina wearing a red, white and blue Budweiser swimsuit. The carousel also featured images of some of the food and fancy cocktails they enjoyed.

“I’ve been MAUI for a week 🌸,” Alaina jokingly said in the post’s title.

Arnold and Alaina, who got engaged in November 2022, tied the knot in what the country star described as a “big, loud wedding” in Nashville, attended by 450 guests.

Ahead of the nuptials, Alaina joked to PEOPLE about the huge guest list: “Here’s the funny thing: I wanted a small wedding and Cameron wanted a big wedding. So we compromised — and we had a list of 450 people.”

“I think it’s just a reflection of how lucky we are – we have a lot of people who love us and we love a lot of people,” she added.

As for what’s next, she said, “We’re going to spend a few years married, and then hopefully have kids in a few years. We’re going to continue to grow together.”
