In 2004, she began her dance career with the show “Let’s Dance” and assisted choreographer Tess Diorio in the second season. In 2005, she participated in the third season of the show as a contestant.
After the season ended, she went on to choreograph the show’s fourth, fifth and sixth seasons, assisting Tess Diorio, Tabitha and Napoleon Dumo, and Mia Michael Si and other choreographers. She was also a choreographer who auditioned for the fifth season of “The Choreographer’s Wheel.” Gottlieb later returned as an “All-Stars” dancer for seasons seven (2010), eight (2011), and nine (2012). If I had stayed there an extra year or two, I don’t think I would be alive today. I originally wanted to play the lead role in So You Think You Can Dance 4, but ultimately lost out to a close friend of mine. I was so depressed I couldn’t even bring myself to wish her well.
