Lauren Sánchez Calls Her Style ‘a Little Sexy’ and Says She's Inspired by Icons Like Jennifer Lopez

Lauren Sánchez likes a bit of duality when it comes to her fashion choices.

In the episode of September 13 Viewhelicopter pilot and philanthropist — who just published her first children’s book, The fly that flew into space September 10 — talked about what she looks for in a great outfit.

“You’ve become a fashion icon who’s not afraid to be bold, you’re not afraid to be sexy,” said co-host Sunny Hostin. “Have you always been into fashion, do you like to dress up, or do you really like sweatpants?”

Sánchez, 54, announced her love of tracksuits, saying: “I come home and I’m in tracksuits all day. I love it.”

At the same time, however, she considers her style “a bit sexy” and draws inspiration from some of Hollywood’s hottest and most stylish women.

“I really look up to women like Eva Longoria, Salma Hayek, Jennifer Lopez, Sofía Vergara — they really embrace their culture when they dress and I think that’s just in me,” said the former TV host.

Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos have a glamorous date at the Kering dinner: ‘Nothing like dressing up’

This side of Sánchez’s style always shines when she’s out and about, whether she’s traveling the world in luxury looks (she was once spotted in a $6,000 Dolce & Gabbana look at an Italian airport), going on red carpet dates with fiancé Jeff Bezos, or sitting front row at fashion shows of famous designers.

She recently stepped out at the Kering Foundation Caring for Women Gala and Dinner on September 9 in a sheer off-the-shoulder Oscar de la Renta gown covered in velvet lace.

Bezos didn’t walk the carpet, but was photographed with Sánchez at the event, co-hosted by their close friend Kim Kardashian, and held at The Pool in NYC

Another of Sánchez’s most memorable moments came when she attended a state dinner at the White House in 2024 in a gorgeous red Rosario gown with a fitted lace bodice.
