Laurence O’Fuarain was reputedly born in Ireland, although nothing is known about his early days. The actor attended Tallaght Institute of Technology in Dublin, Ireland. He supposedly filmed several short films around this period as well. He then left the university to pursue a career as an actor and enrolled in the Bow Street Academy in Dublin. Laurence O’Fuarain has previously featured in a few short films, including A Breath and VVoid. He also played Simpson in an episode of HBO’s Game of Thrones.

 

The actor appeared in the fifth season of Vikings, a historical period drama program, playing the character of Hakon. Other notable performances by Laurence O’Fuarain include Viking Destiny, Black ’47, Who We Love, Rebellion, and Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope, among many more.

Viewers are looking forward to O’Fuarain’s performance as Fjall. Fjall is an Elven warrior famed for his steadfast loyalty. According to numerous stories, Fjall and Sophia Brown’s Éile compose a difficult equation. Laurence O’Fuarain revealed some details about the series in an interview with Collider. Collider reported that the actor stated:

“In the show, we have the “Conjunction of the Spheres” and the first prototype Witcher. We’ve got all these new characters that no one has ever met before. We’ve got the Band of Seven. I believe that people will draw toward the band of warriors trekking across the continent. Yes, I believe it will be a blockbuster.”

The Witcher: Blood Origin teaser shows off the series’ breathtaking aesthetics as well as some of the game’s spectacular action scenes. The program does not provide key narrative facts, but it sets the tone, which seems to be considerably different from The Witcher.
