Lawrence O’Donnell, 67, of MNSBC, hasn’t been the same since he divorced his wife. After the breakup of almost two decades of joyful married life, the Boston man is still dealing with the traumatic event. From nearly meeting her maker while on vacation with her brother to posting a video of her infamous meltdown at work, the Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell host’s post-divorce life has been marked by disasters and mistakes. However, Tamron Hall, the former MSNBC star who was reportedly seeing him, appeared as a glimmer of hope when she revealed her desire to have children.
The end of married life with an ex-wife is followed by tragedies and accidents
If Lawrence and his alleged girlfriend decide to start a family, he will have a much easier adjustment to parenthood. After all, the 67-year-old novelist and TV host already has a daughter with ex-wife Kathryn Harrold, Elizabeth Buckley Harrold. He and Nightwing actress Kathryn, 71, married in 1994 after meeting through a mutual acquaintance in New York, only to divorce in 2013 after 19 years of marriage.
Kathryn was his better half, a kind of lucky charm in many ways. Nothing confirms this more than the following events. Lawrence and his brother were vacationing in the Virgin Islands less than a year after their divorce when they were involved in a drunk driving accident as passengers in a taxi. For the next three years, the former Democratic staff director of the Senate Finance Committee remained inactive until an 8-minute recording of him malfunctioning on his programming set was released in September 2017. The release of the clip of his malfunction came less than three months after he signed a new contract with MSNBC. Lawrence, whose net worth is estimated at $16 million, is guaranteed $4 million in earnings under the terms of the new contract.
Tamron Hall is coming out: The former MSNBC personality is ready to have children
Many people may not remember, but reports of an affair between Lawrence and Tamron Hall were circulating long before the former’s divorce was formalized. In February 2012, the New York Post was the first media source to report the development of a relationship between the MSNBC characters. Neither Lawrence nor his alleged girlfriend, who has substantial income and financial assets, have publicly addressed the rumours.
After attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in 2016, the alleged couple began dating speculation again. Tamron announced its intentions in an interview with People Magazine earlier that year, adding fuel to the fire.
“I haven’t lost hope of having a child. But I just hope that no matter what path I choose in parenting, whether it’s adoption or the possibility of pregnancy, I can give someone as great a life as my parents gave me.”
Unfortunately, things fell apart between the two when Tamron revealed on Twitter in 2017 that she was seeing a man named Tony. She left MSBNC and the Today Show less than a month later. She is currently happily married to music manager Steven Greener. Tamron’s lifelong ambition will be realized when the couple give birth to their first child, Mosses, in April 2019, the same year they got married. The former Today Show co-host shared the happy news on Instagram, posting a photo of herself holding her bundle of joy. In the picture, she was wearing a homemade hat with the inscription “Moses”.
Tamron revealed the news two months after announcing on Instagram that she got married. She announced her pregnancy to her fans in the same video. Lawrence was preoccupied with politics, while his alleged ex-girlfriend was preoccupied with motherhood. In May 2019, the polarizing broadcaster sparked controversy by accusing White House Counsel Kellyanne Conway of violating the Hatch Act. His accusations come after Kellyanne allegedly made disparaging comments about presidential candidate Joe Biden. The Hatch Act prohibits government employees from using their position to influence the outcome of an election.
