Laxmi Yadav is an Indian cricketer who was selected by UP Warriorz Women for Rs. £1 million was auctioned at the Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction held on 13 February 2023. She plays wicketkeeper and is also a right-handed batsman.

Laxmi Yadav was born on Wednesday, October 22, 1997 in Bamheta village, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh (age 25; as of 2022). Her zodiac sign is Libra. She was educated at Ramki Hills College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Lakshmi has been playing cricket since she was a child and has always had the support of her family. In 2013, she started training under coach Sanjay Nagar. Later, she joined Sunil Saini’s DS Cricket Academy when Sanjay joined and Laxmi also joined the academy.

Lakshmi’s father, named Kundan Yadav, works in a private company. She has four siblings including three sisters and a brother, his name is Ajay Yadav.

In 2011, she joined the Delhi women’s cricket team and won the Ranji Trophy with them. In 2015, she became a member of Delhi U-19 team. On 2 January 2015, she participated in Delhi Railways’ senior women’s one-day league match against Maharashtra Railways.
In 2018, she scored 92 runs off 85 balls in the Women’s Under-23 T20 League and Knockout Tournament (2018-19) against Arunachal Pradesh. After the match, she was selected to represent the India B team in the 2020 T20 Challenger Cup, but she was not included in the roster.
In 2019, she started playing for the Indian Railways.
When she was in the Delhi U-23 team, she was the captain of the team. In 2021, she represented the India A team in the Senior Women’s Challenger Cup one-day tournament.
