LeBron James broke his silence about this viral conflict with Stephen A. Smith.
During Show Pat McAfee On Wednesday, March 26, the 40-year-old Lakers superstar addressed his feud with a commentator for criticizing his son Bronny James and joked that Smith, 57, was on “Taylor Swift Tour Run right now”, while continuing publicly about the incident.
James said that Smith, whose comments about Bronny, 20, are not ready to play in NBA on ESPN Take it first An upset four -time NBA champion, “completely missed the whole point of” their conversation aside after the Lakers match on March 6th.

“I would never allow people who talk about sports to criticize players about what they do in the field,” James said on Wednesday. “It’s your job to criticize or be in a position where if guys don’t perform, that’s all part of the game.”
The father of Troy, however, said, when Smith got “personally” with his criticism of Bronny, 20, became James’s “job” to “protect my damn household” and “player protection.”

James also had fun for Smith – who initially said that he only addressed the incident because the video became viral – because “one person who could not wait to see” to be able to “turn”.
“And I know he will be as happy as hell when he hears me talking about him,” James continued, suggesting that Smith “smiled from ear to ear” when he sees the NBA superstar talk about him.

The leading NBA scorer also reflected in balance from his father and teammate Bronny, drawn by the Lakers in June 2024. “It doesn’t matter if he never scores,” James said. “For me as a dad, I’m just super proud of him as a young man.”
James, on the other hand, said he saw firsthand that Bronny had invested from the draft in hard work and wanted to see him “progressing” on the field. “I’m great proud of his development where he is now,” James said of his oldest son.
