LeBron James is most proud of his son Bronny James!

On Wednesday, January 15, the Los Angeles Lakers player appeared on New heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast and revealed that playing with Bronny, 20, in the NBA is his greatest achievement.

The proud dad (40) and his oldest child made history in October 2024 by becoming the first father-son duo to play together in the NBA.

“When it comes to titles, it’s a special thing,” LeBron said. “But to be able to play in this league and also to be able to do it alongside Bronny right now, that’s one of the biggest achievements and probably the Achievement no. 1 that I’ve ever managed.”

He added: “Working with your son — I’ve heard that from a lot of people, and not only [in] sports, but I heard it in business and [other] life, and they say it’s the best thing you can have.”

LeBron James’ younger son, Bryce, has decided to play basketball at the University of Arizona

The longtime pro basketball player – who also shares son Bryce, 17, and daughter Zhuri, 10, with wife Savannah James – went on to say he feels he’s been able to get back the years he was away working during Bronny’s childhood.

“Seeing him every day, grinding and going through the process of trying to become what he wants to be while I sit there and just watch him, and do the things that he wants to do and I can just take it all in … helps me get some minutes back, hours and years back that I didn’t have with him because I was playing so much and I was on the road, doing my stuff and traveling,” LeBron continued.

He added: “To be able to get some of my time back now, man, it’s pretty special.”

The father of three also talked about how Bronny has to deal with the pressures and backlash from social media, something LeBron didn’t have to endure during his youth.

“I didn’t have to deal with social media trolls growing up,” he said. “And I didn’t have to deal with a father who’s this fucking guy who’s on a pedestal.”

LeBron James Says He Could Keep Playing ‘7 Years’ As He Marks 40th Birthday — ‘But I Won’t’

LeBron went on to say that if skeptics met Bronny, they would feel like “such an idiot” because he’s “the coolest, easiest, funniest kid in the world.”

“I think it’s going to make him even bigger, because he has to deal with all the things that he deals with and he can still come back from a life-threatening situation and still be motivated,” LeBron added. – He didn’t have to.

Bronny went into cardiac arrest in July 2023 during basketball practice at the University of Southern California.

“Bronny doesn’t have to play basketball at all,” LeBron said, adding that his son doesn’t need money and can choose to “do whatever he wants.”

“But he says, ‘This is my career. These are my goals and my aspirations, and I want to play ball. This is something I love,” he added. “I love that kid. He’s awesome.”
