Fast forward 40 years later and the pop sensation still looks gorgeous.
She showed off her age-defying look while attending the Women’s International Music Network’s 2024 She Rocks Awards at the Anaheim Convention Center last Thursday.
Susanna looked chic in a leopard print jacket with black trousers and a matching top and a pair of loafers as she stepped out at the glam event in Anaheim, California.
The talented musician smiled and posed for photos on the red carpet.
She wore her brunette locks loose and opted for minimal make-up as she showed off her flawless skin.
The singer also sent fans wild after showing off her fresh-faced look in an Instagram video to celebrate her 65th birthday earlier this month.
In the video, she said: “I’m 65! Time passes, but everything is good.
“No makeup. It’s going to be okay. Getting old is okay, it really is. Older and wiser.”
Fans were quick to compliment her, telling her she’s aging like “fine wine,” with one writing: “You’re so beautiful inside and out.”
Another posted: “Some people age like fine wine, you’re one of them. You look absolutely gorgeous.”
Susanna has clearly stumbled upon the fountain of youth – boasting a body and smooth skin that any 20-something would be delighted with.
She enjoyed huge success with The Bangles, largely thanks to their monster hits Eternal Flame, Manic Monday and Walk Like An Egyptian.
The pop-rock group from Los Angeles has also released five albums – one of which, 1986’s Different Light, went multi-platinum in the US, UK and Canada.
A third album, 1988’s Everything, was their last before they reunited in 2003 – after which they released two collections that failed to set the charts alight, including 2011’s Sweetheart Of The Sun.
Susanna revealed on the BBC show that she recorded her vocals for Eternal Flame completely naked in the studio.
The reason for that? Because producer Davitt Sigerson told her that Olivia Newton John never wore clothes when she sang behind closed doors – not realizing he was playing a joke on her.
Susanna is married to film director Jay Roach – who made the Austin Powers and Meet the Parents films – and the couple have two sons.
As a result of her husband’s Hollywood career, Susanna made several cameos herself – including all three Mike Myers movies starring Austin Powers.
