Lidya Jewett was born on Friday, January 19, 2007 (age 13 in 2020) in Ethiopia, near the Ethiopia-Sudan border. Her star sign is Capricorn. She was adopted from an orphanage in Addis Ababa when she was four years old and later came to the United States.
She showed academic talent at a young age and learned to speak English before she started kindergarten. She was a voracious reader and loved math and science. Later, her family moved from Miami to Los Angeles, and she became a student living on both the East and West coasts.

Sure enough, the next person was a waitress who said I would be in commercials. So we did. I started doing print modeling and commercials in the Miami area. On set, production would pull my mom aside and tell her that they needed to coach me to “get on camera,” and doors started opening, which led me to my current agent and team in LA.”
