Lily-Rose Depp took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message about her “family” this week to mark her new HBO drama, The Idol, debuting its first episode.
It was a big moment for the actress, who stars with Abel Tesfaye, aka The Weeknd, and Lily-Rose wrote a lengthy caption explaining what it meant to her.

“Tonight is the premiere of Idol,” the 26-year-old began, adding, “I can’t describe in words how I feel right now! This movie and the people I’m lucky to be made of! It means a lot to me.”
Lily-Rose went on to express her gratitude for the “idol family” she built while working with the crew, producers, and fellow actors on set. “Filming was the most special experience I’ve ever had and I thank my lucky stars every day for the most beautiful little family we all built together. My famous idol. , you know who you are – I love you guys so much.”

The blonde beauty ended by adding: “Sam and Abel, thanks for letting me be your Jocelyn. I still blame myself that you guys chose me. Thanks for making my dream come true. come true. I love you both forever,” before telling fans to watch the show at 9:00 PM ET on HBO and Max.
Lily-Rose’s dad Johnny was quick to show support for his daughter’s big TV milestone and ‘liked’ the post in question. The series features Lily-Rose with the cast and crew in authentic behind-the-scenes footage, as well as stunning footage of the star posing on stage with a microphone as Jocelyn.
Meanwhile, Johnny and Vanessa Paradis’ daughter Lily-Rose recently revealed how proud she is of her father, who received a seven-minute standing ovation at Cannes for the film. His Jeanne Du Barry.

She told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m super happy for him. I’m super excited,” adding, “And it’s been great that we get to work on projects that we’re incredibly proud of. .”
Idol follows Lily-Rose’s character, Jocelyn, a young pop star who wants to make a comeback after her career derailed and enlists the help of a nightclub owner to help her rebuild.
But the show, created by Euphoria host Sam Levinson, has faced a lot of criticism in recent weeks after Rolling Stone made accusations of a toxic environment on set and creative conflict.

Lily-Rose herself spoke out about the aforementioned controversy, explaining in a statement: “I have never felt more supported or respected in a space of creativity, opinions and ideas. My opinion is appreciated more than that.Working with Sam is a real partnership in every way – it’s what’s important to him, most of all, not just how his actor feels. about the work, but also how we feel when we perform it.”
She continued. “He hires people he values his work with and always creates an environment where I feel seen, heard and appreciated.”
