Lindsay Lohan is back! And she totally is grool.
The star (37) made a surprise appearance at the New York premiere of the film Mean girls, the musical based on the Broadway play based on the 2004 film — in which Lohan famously starred! She walked the red carpet dressed in a totally polished look that proved that she’s no ordinary mom, she’s a cool mom.
In fact, when asked if she identifies as a “cool mom,” Lohan — who welcomed son Luai with husband Bader Shammas in July — told PEOPLE exclusively, “I hope so!”
The actress wore a long-sleeved black dress by Alexandre Vauthier that had a beautiful neckline decorated with silver crystals.

The dress featured a slight slit that revealed Lohan’s black ankle strap heels and was paired with matching silver earrings.
She posed for solo shots, alongside pictures with Saturday night live creator Lorne Michaels and Tina Fey, who wrote the original film.
Lohan reunited with her original self Mean girls castmates just a few months ago with Walmart for an epic Black Friday commercial. In the nostalgic commercial, all the kids from North Shore High School grew up.

“Some things never change. We wear pink on Wednesdays, but now we shop Walmart’s Black Friday deals,” Cady says as Gretchen (Lacey Chabert) pulls up in a convertible full of Walmart bags.
The ad goes back to some of the most famous scenes from the movie, from Karen’s (Amanda Seyfried) weather reports to the famous performance of “Jingle Bell Rock” with sexy Santa costumes.

Although Lohan starred in the original Mean girls as Cady Heron, the 2024 version is played by Angourie Rice. Sexual life of female students star Renée Rapp reprises her Broadway role as Regina George.
Fey, who wrote the original film, also stars in and writes the film-musical adaptation. She is also producing the project alongside Michaels. Fey’s husband, Jeff Richmond, wrote the original songs for the musical to lyrics by Nell Benjamin, and Kyle Hanagami, known for his viral YouTube videos, is choreographing the film.
