Lindsay Lohan’s Recent Fashion Streak Had Some Subtle Flashbacks to Her Aughts Onscreen Style

It’s been almost 20 years since Lindsay Lohan became newly hapless PR guru Ashley Albright in the romantic comedy Just my luck – but some of her character’s fashion sense clearly stayed with her.

Lohan’s recent press tour for her just-released Netflix movie Irish wish prompts the actress, 37, to revisit some of the style cues that have been characteristic of her on-screen co-stars throughout. Lohan, of course, rose to fame in teen comedies like Crazy Friday and Georgian rule.

This month, as she bounced between daytime talk show appearances and Irish wish premiere, Lohan opted for crisp white pieces, statement jackets and fun accessories — all with an early 2000s vibe.

On March 6, Lohan — new mom to 8-month-old son Luai — smiled as she braved the New York rain in David Koma white pants and a white embellished top, topped with a voluminous fur jacket from Zimmerman. Lohan’s Y2K-esque oversized sunnies, a gold Dolce & Gabbana clutch and Type Jewelry Tube Drip Diamond Hoop earrings accessorized the look.

The next day, Lohan continued to avoid the “no white before Memorial Day” rule. This time she opted for white trousers and a drapey white top from AWAKE MODE, which was cinched in at the waist (and giving off soft 2000s-era ruffles). Her Magda Butrym coat was paired with Hunting Season’s Lizard Small Top Handle bag and large Otra Reina sunglasses.

Completely white stares could be drawn from her Just my luck character’s wardrobe. In the film, Lohan’s Ashley pairs a white trench coat with a white top, scarf, and pants — proving that Lohan isn’t afraid of the dangers of New York’s winter stains, both onscreen and in real life.

She also struck the same sassy sunglasses pose on the steps of the Plaza Hotel that she did in the poster Just my luck almost two decades ago.

To perform at The Kelly Clarkson Show, which aired last week, Lohan’s stylists Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi dressed her in Monse’s asymmetric floral skeleton velvet dress and shiny red Santoni boots. She once again pulled out a Magda Butrym wool blend coat to keep warm in the chilly temperatures and accessorized with Walters Faith and Nina Runsdorf jewelry.

The all-white streak began earlier in the month Irish wish premiere. For it, Lohan paired an off-white strappy floor-length Galliano dress with a Sentaler coat and Casadei shoes.

“I’m so grateful for all the love and support ☘️🥰,” Lohan wrote on Instagram at the time alongside a slide show of herself looking glamorous and posing with loved ones.
