Lindsie Chrisley Splits from Boyfriend Trent After Nearly a Year of Dating (Exclusive)

Lindsie Chrisley is moving forward.

PEOPLE can confirm that Southern tea the podcast host, 34, and her beau, Trent, have officially split after dating for nearly a year.

“Lindsie needs time to process the events that have unfolded and is focusing on healing to be the best version of herself,” a source close to the former couple tells PEOPLE.

“There was no cheating involved in the decision to break up. Outside influence was a leading factor in the breakup,” notes the source. “She didn’t end her relationship to reconcile with ex-husband Will. They still have a positive co-parenting relationship and are supportive of each other as they continue their 13-year friendship.”

Chrisley previously revealed that the now exes met in February 2023. However, she didn’t go public with the relationship until that June.

“Just know I have a boyfriend,” she said in an Instagram Story Q+A, answering questions from fans asking about her possible new lover. “For those who speculated or were part of starting the rumor that it was [my ex-husband] Will (who is also seeing someone) or Dad from Suburban [Thomas Mollura], it is not. Everyone involved in my world is happy + that makes me happy.”

Chrisley then shared her first photos with Trent in July 2023, giving a glimpse of their trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

“I’ve always been hesitant to travel to Mexico with anyone because it has a special place in my heart. I got married there. I’ve always wanted to travel there with someone only if it was really good,” she wrote. “I’m so glad we got to experience this journey together and I can’t wait to see what our future holds.”

Providing more insight into her relationship with Trent, Chrisley knows best the alum added, “I found a man who will carry my bag when it’s too heavy. Who is attentive and quiet when I want to sleep. He hugs me all night and reminds me that he loves me every day. Who knew you could love yourself like this. Forever thank you i love you trent.” …

At the time, a source told PEOPLE that Chrisley was “happier than ever.”

Lindsie Chrisley says divorce won’t be an ‘option’ in her next marriage: ‘It was always a quick decision’

“I think that’s it,” the insider added. “Since her divorce from Will, I think this is the first time she’s considered remarrying.”

Chrisley last posted Trent on her Instagram feed in December, sharing photos from their Christmas celebration in Atlanta. One slide contained a comic book photo booth image of a couple kissing.

Later, on her Instagram Story in January, the former reality star shared a clip of the pair briefly addressing when they first met.

Before Trent, Chrisley finalized her divorce from Will Campbell – with whom she shares son Jackson – in October 2021 after nine years of marriage. She then dated Thomas Mollur, a man she often referred to as her “suburban dad.”
