In addition to the players listed in the table above, Virender Sehwag, Ross Taylor, Alastair Cook also scored 38 centuries each. Rohit Sharma also scored a total of 44 centuries, including 30 in the ODI and 9 in the Tests.

With a crushing century ahead of Sri Lanka, Kohli equaled Sachin Tendulkar’s 20-ton ODI record at home, hitting another major milestone. Kohli hit the record in 101 games compared to Tendulkar’s 164.

In addition, Kohli broke Sachin Tendulkar’s ODI record for most of the century before Sri Lanka. With another 180 runs to make it into the ODI top 5 all-time top scorers, Kohli has a chance to break another record. He is in the elite ranks just behind Tendulkar, Sangakkara, Ponting, Jayasuriya and Jayawardene.

The top 20 list includes four players from India, Sri Lanka and Australia, while three are from South Africa and the West Indies and two are from Pakistan. So all the top 20 players belong to only 6 countries.
