Who Is Finneas O’Connell’s Girlfriend? All About Claudia Sulewski

Finneas O’Connell and his girlfriend, Claudia Sulewski, are a couple of goals.

While the Grammy-winning artist is best known as the brother of pop star Billie Eilish and a frequent collaborator, he has his own music career on the rise — making music under the moniker FINNEAS and producing for artists such as Selena Gomez, Halsey, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato and Camila Cabello.

His YouTuber and actress girlfriend, whom he met on a dating app and started dating in 2018, also has a successful career in the entertainment industry. The pair collaborated on several work projects, including the music video for O’Connell’s song “Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa,” which Sulewski directed and starred in.

Since getting together, O’Connell and Sulewski have also celebrated some major milestones, including buying a house together and adopting a dog.

When she was just 13 years old, Sulewski began posting a mix of beauty guides and lifestyle content on her YouTube channel, originally called BeyondBeautyStar. She quickly gained a large following and changed her channel to her real name.

In 2014, she moved from her hometown in Illinois to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, as she later said ELLE. Soon after that, she started hosting Teen VogueThe user’s YouTube channel. Sulewski acted Teen VogueA representative at awards shows, red carpet premieres and other A-list events.

Sulewski has continued to make YouTube videos over the years and regularly documents her life with O’Connell on her channel. At the 2019 Revolve Awards, Sulewski’s channel was named YouTube Channel of the Year.

He now has over 2 million followers on Instagram, 2.5 million followers on YouTube and 900,000 followers on TikTok.

She is an actress

After moving to LA, Sulewski told her YouTube subscribers that she dreamed of becoming an actress. Since then, she has made the transition to the big screen and has starred in various films and TV shows, among which are the most famous I love my dad, which was released in August 2022. In the drama, which marked her film debut, Sulewski plays a waitress, Becca, whose picture is used by a dad to hook his son on a dating app. The film was written and directed by James Morosini and stars Morosini, Patton Oswalt and Rachel Dratch.

Sulewski has also appeared in the Hulu series CommutingTV short Christmas carol + zombies and fugitives.

Sulewski and O’Connell met in 2018 on a dating app, though they did not say which one.

They have now been together for over four years and Finneas shared a sweet tribute to his girlfriend for their fourth anniversary in September 2022.

“You’d have to search the whole world to try to find someone as talented, creative and hardworking as you, my love. Then you’d have to do it a second time to try to find someone as good, thoughtful and generous. A third time to find someone as witty , the fourth to find someone so loving, the fifth to find someone so beautiful,” he wrote on Instagram. “How you manage to be all these things at once will be impossible for you forever. Happy anniversary Baby, I love you to hell.”

In a 2019 interview with BuzzFeed, O’Connell said he wrote “Claudia” within hours of meeting her and sent her snippets of the song to listen to that night. The song’s lyrics begin with phrases like “I think you’ll change my plans / With those emerald eyes / But you don’t even understand / How much they’re on my mind.”

In 2022, he wrote and produced “Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa” with Sulewski as muse. She starred in and directed the accompanying music video. The video, shot on a phone, follows the couple in Paris as they pose in front of a bathroom mirror, kiss on the Eiffel Tower and cuddle together in bed.

“It sure is an awesome video!” Sulewski said Vogue. “We’re pretty deep into it at the moment – we’ve been dating for almost four years, so I think the cat’s out of the bag,” O’Connell added.

She and O’Connell bought a house together in 2019

The couple bought their first home together in October 2019. Sulewski announced the news on Instagram and in a since-deleted YouTube video documenting their big moving day.

In a later interview with ELLE, Sulewski shared that their LA home has a recording studio for O’Connell as well as an office for her. She added that they constantly motivate each other when it comes to careers and creative endeavors.

In the years since she bought the home, the YouTuber has been giving her followers updates on the decorating process and tours of the space on her channel.

She and O’Connell rescued the dog together

In December 2019, the couple rescued a pit bull named Peaches from Angel City Pit Bulls in LA Sulewski shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of her and O’Connell cuddling on the couch with the pup. In the caption, she wrote: “MEET OUR PITTY PEACH🐾 we adopted her from the wonderful non-profit organization @angelcitypits and I vlogged her for the first 24 hours.”

Peaches appears frequently on the couple’s social media and in Sulewski’s YouTube videos, often cuddled up next to them in bed or on the couch. She even has her own Instagram account, @ms.peachpit, which has over 180k followers.

She is close to Billie Eilish, O’Connell’s sister

Sulewski appears to be in a close relationship with her boyfriend’s sister, Eilish. The two often appear on social media, and in December 2021, Sulewski dedicated a sweet tribute to the pop star on her birthday.

“I LOVE YOU SO MUCH !!! happy birthday Billie, the world wouldn’t be the same without you,” she captioned a series of pool selfies together.

Despite their closeness, Sulewski makes a conscious effort not to feature Eilish on his channel. O’Connell himself commented that Eilish’s day-to-day life was more challenging than theirs, and that he had “no desire to be more famous than I currently am”.

She is always O’Connell’s companion at the Grammys

At the 2022 Grammy Awards, O’Connell and Sulewski hit the red carpet in matching silk Gucci suits.

Two years later, at the 2024 Grammy Awards, Sulewski walked the red carpet in a tight Givenchy gown, while O’Connell wore a simple all-black ensemble. Later that night, the music producer took home two Grammys.
