Valerie Bertinelli Shares Sweet Birthday Message to Son Wolfgang Van Halen’s Wife Andraia Allsop

Valerie Bertinelli is grateful for the “eternal person” of her son.

The Food Network star shared a loving message to his son Wolfgang Van Halen’s wife Andria Allsop for her birthday on Friday.

“Can’t wait for you to be Wolfie’s forever person (and impressive young cat 😻),” the Golden Globe-winning actress wrote in the caption.

Bertinelli paired the beautiful words with a photo of her daughter-in-law smiling and cuddling with three cats.

“I love you! 💜,” Bertinelli added alongside the caption.

Wolfgang, 32 — who is Bertinella’s only child with her ex-husband, the late Eddie Van Halen — and Allsop, 33, married in October. Wolfgang’s birthday falls just one day after Allsop’s.

Bertinelli and Allsop have a close relationship and Bertinelli told PEOPLE that she “really understands” Wolfgang.

“It brings me such a beautiful sense of peace to know that Wolfie and Andraia have each other for the rest of their lives,” Bertinelli said. “They really ‘get along’. Their humor is very similar, they like similar things, they know how to give each other space and they are so comfortable together.”

Bertinelli and the newlyweds walked the red carpet at the 96th Academy Awards on Sunday, all matching in sleek black and white looks. Wolfgang took the stage during the ceremony to perform Barbie“I’m just Ken.”

While speaking to PEOPLE on the carpet, Bertinelli expressed her pride for her son.

“I’m excited! I’m here to support Wolfie, the Barbie movie, because Wolfie is all in it. He worked a lot with [soundtrack producer] Evaluation [Ronson] two days, and I’m really proud of him so I want to support him,” she said. “And the movie was creepy, so we’ll just say that.”

Bertinelli revealed earlier this week that she is currently dating again since finalizing her divorce from her husband of 10 years, Tom Vitale, in November 2022. In a conversation with NOW TODAYshe said her dynamic with the new guy “is unlike any relationship I’ve ever experienced with a man.”

“He was not on my radar. I wanted to die with my six cats and my dog ​​and be incredibly happy doing it,” she added. “This came out of left field, and I’m grateful that it did. He is very special.”
