Little People, Big World’s Zach Confronts the ‘Super Sad’ Prospect of Tori Explaining His Death to Their Kids

Zach Roloff makes sure his kids are prepared for anything that might happen to them.

During the season 25 premiere Little people, big worldfather of three, 33, opened up about his recent brain surgery, revealing he had to face the very scary prospect of his wife Tori, 31, telling their three children — daughter Lilah Ray, 4, and sons Jackson Kyle, 6 , and Josiah Luke, 21 months — of his death.

At the beginning of the episode, Zach is seen recovering from surgery and talking to Tori about what to watch out for in the future with his condition. Saying he can be “more intense with the kids,” Zach said he thinks about them all the time. “They want to have their dad for a while,” he says.

As the episode continues, Zach says that “it all happened so fast and it’s good to be on the other side” of his surgery. He praises Tori for diligently gathering and taking care of their children.

He said that he is “triggered” when he now gets a headache, explaining that “it [would be] it’s very sad to think that Tori will have to explain [the kids] why isn’t dad here.”

Earlier this week, Tori shared photos as husband Zach accompanied daughter Lilah to her first daddy-daughter dance.

“Daddy’s first daughter Lilah and @zroloff07 gala!! I’m here for that… just silently wiping away tears watching these two spend a fun and special night together! I love you both! 💕💕💕,” the proud mom wrote .

The couple’s sons also took photos with their sister. “Brothers are the end for me! 🤣,” Tori also added.

Last year, the family of five enjoyed a trip to Disneyland, where they met some of the characters – an activity Lilah seemed to have mixed feelings about. While tolerating a selfie with mom and Princess Jasmine, she cried during another photo they took with Minnie Mouse.

“Lilah prefers characters from a distance,” Tori wrote in the caption. – However, he cannot stop looking at his signature.

Tori later shared a selfie with her two boys, with Josiah sitting on her lap while Jackson sat next to them, smiling sweetly.

In the adorable photo, Tori wrote, “My happiest place!!”
