They are desperate to land the Egyptian and have followed up a staggering £170m bid with a contract that will reach £215m with add-ons.

Salah has been offered £2.45m-a-week to leave Anfield with additional incentives, SunSport understands.

He was tempted with a large percentage of shirt sales, a £55,000 win bonus as well as ambassadorial roles for at least three major Saudi companies during his contract.

That could be worth an extra £18m with each firm willing to pay him £6m each.

The Saudis are determined to get their man and are encouraged by some members of Kop’s hierarchy who are hesitant to sell him or not.

If this bid fails, he will concentrate on launching a new one when the transfer window reopens early next year.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has repeatedly insisted that Salah is not for sale, but the forward’s entourage are happy to hear offers.

Salah has started all of Liverpool’s Premier League games so far this season.
