Lizzo was candid with fans about the setback in her health journey.

“I received it yesterday and I feel so bad about it,” the “Truth Hurts” singer, 36, wrote in a TikTok video posted on Sept. 30, as she stood stoically in front of the camera.

Dressed in a casual denim skirt and oversized striped shirt, Lizzo continued, “I try to remind myself that my body needed that food.”

“And if my body deserves comfort, then my brain deserves comfort too,” she ended the video. In the comments, she offered support to fans who may also be struggling on their fitness journeys.

“If you’re going through this, you’re not alone ❤️,” wrote the “Special” singer.

TikToker Soulxsigh uploaded a video with audio, where the poet and artist says: “You were good today. Really good. You may not see it. You might think it’s just another day, but it’s not. Every step you took today was a step forward no matter how small.”
